What is Chainmaille?
Chainmaille is probably the earliest forms of metal armor. It is created from hundreds or thousands of metal rings being “woven” or linked together to create patterns. Chainmaille armor and jewelry dates back to more than 2,500 years ago. Chainmaille armor is still created today for reenactments. However, this special craft is widely appreciated as intricate jewelry pieces due to it’s unique and sometimes ancient patterns that are all thoughtfully handcrafted. No machines. Nothing is mass produced. Just two hands, a pair of pliers, and some good eyesight. This is why your jewelry is so special. With more understanding of how the artist creates each piece, not only is the jewelry admired by many, but the reverence and mystery for this ancient craft remains timeless.

Since I was 7 years old.
How did you learn to weave maille?
While visiting a Renaissance Faire I took a workshop. It was exciting to see my creation and wanted to learn more. My mom connected me with a master weaver and chainmaille extraordinaire, Rebeca Mojica. She mentored me and gave me endless tips.
